Do you have a child who will enter transitional kindergarten (TK) or kindergarten in the upcoming fall? 

If so, plan to attend our wonderful TK/Kinder Preview Nights offered at Kings Beach Elementary School. This informative event, led by our fantastic elementary school principal, will provide all the information you need to set your child up for success within KBE.  You’ll learn what makes our school the right choice for your child, and you’ll also receive information on enrollment, our free meal program for all students, and how to apply for bus transportation services. 

Age Requirements

Children five years old qualify for kindergarten on or before September 1, 2026.

Children who turn five between September 2, 2026, and June 2, 2027, are eligible for transitional kindergarten. TK students are enrolled in order of the priorities outlined below: 

1. Student resides within the school attendance geographical area
   * View the Elementary School Attendance Boundaries Map, which designates a student's home school

2. The sibling(s) of the student is currently enrolled in the school

3. Student resides within the school district but is not within the school attendance geographic area

4. Student lives outside the district
